Job Summary:

• Translation of technical, scientific, commercial, economic and other specialized documentation, correspondence with foreign companies, as well as conference and meetings materials.
• Translation and interpretation in the requested scope and within the established time frame (1 full day’s scope of written translation — 8 conventional pages on the basis of 1800 characters per page).
• Ensuring equivalence in terms of lexis, style, subject and meaning of the source text/information.
• Verification of his/her own translations and translations performed by subcontractors in compliance with the requirements of the Department Manager.
• Contribution to harmonization of terms, creating and updating of glossaries, improvement of definitions in the scope of translations of the company.
• Active collaboration with South Tambey LNG discipline specialists in order to improve the quality of translation of technical and other special terminology.
• Ensuring fulfillment of tasks defined by the Department Manager.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of the information becoming known to him/her as a result of his/her job functions

Requirements:

• Higher education — technical or linguistic.
• 3 — 5 years of experience as technical translator (oil & gas industry).
• Experienced user of MS Office package.
