WORK HOURS: 30 days on-site (10 hours per day – 7 days a week) and 30 days off (holidays)

PAYMENT METHOD: 200 000 rubles for a rotation

SCOPE OF WORK:
Launched at the end of 2013, Yamal is one of the most complex liquefied natural gas projects ever undertaken because it is located above the Arctic Circle, a region that is icebound for seven to nine months a year and isolated from all cities and oil and gas infrastructure.
More than 200 wells will be drilled for the project.
We are in charge of all telecom systems on the plant. In particular we are responsible for engineering, coordination of the deployment and installation and pre-commissioning & commissioning.

The telecom systems cover 4 sub-systems:

• IS Network & Data: FON, Structured Cabling, Hotlines — Direct Lines, Telecommunication Microwave Radio Links, Master Clock System, Telecommunication Management System, Dispatcher and Announcement Systems, Telephony, Audio and Video Conference, IP-Dect, DATA System, Entertainment and Distribution
• Oil & Gas: PAGA System, Ship to Shore System
• Security: Security CCTV, Access Control System, Anti Intrusion
• Radio: UHF Radio System, VHF Marine Coastal

For this complex project, we are looking for several Site Cabling Supervisor.

TASKS:
The consultant will perform the following tasks:

• Verify the installation and termination of Ethernet Cat5/Cat6 copper cabling between a technical room and an end-user terminal according to the design files given by pre-commissioning and commissioning Supervisors.
• Verify the installation and termination of Fiber optical cabling between technical rooms according to the design files.
• Verify the patching inside racks with Ethernet copper or fiber optical patch cords basing on supplied design files.
• Verify the patching between racks with Ethernet copper of fiber optical cables.
• Verify the mechanical installation of equipment in 19” racks with rails or trays (fixed and sliding).
• Verify the power connection from the racks to the technical room power distribution panels with wiring on circuit’s breakers or pins.
• Verify the grounding/earthing connection from the equipment to the rack and from the rack to the technical room earthing.
• Verify all CIS equipment deployed according to in the EL (Equipment list).
• Perform the switch on/off operations on equipment to ensure suitable power cabling.
• Report all changes applied on the deployed configuration by amending the design files in English.
• Represent and coordinate THALES PCC Team in front office for all precommissioning and commissioning activities and similar.
• Manage PCC resources in front office.
• Coordinate local supplier.
• Guarantee the security in processes during operation in order to be in line with labor law.
• Manage relationship with suppliers.
• Report to the On Site Customer representative.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced skills in Telecom installation in its wide variety (10 Years).
• Optical fiber cable installation services for Single mode OS1 and Multi-mode OM1 OM2 OM3.
• Optical Fiber cabling with full OTDR testing services for a complete solution. This includes the installation of internal fiber networks to cross site optical fiber cables up to 5km including:
  • Optical fiber cabling, optical fiber transmission equipment and termination solutions excellent knowledge;
  • Also to carry out installations of tight buffered and loose tube fib CST or armored fiber optic cables in the following types: OS1 9/125, OM1
    62.5/125, OM2 50/125, OM3 50/125.
• Full OTDR testing, fusion splicing and fiber optic cable repair services.
• Test of structured data cabling in Copper UTP & FTP Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 cabling systems. Skills with a complete range of structured data cable installation services with the installation of internal structured cabling using FTP, UTP, twisted pair, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 type cables.
• Full data network testing service for all structured cabling networks including FOs, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a using Fluke testers.
• Electrical qualifications, where key attributes of our electrical capabilities include operating on Power Supply Systems up to 1kV (Accreditation). Experience in the installation of Microwave CIS Systems confirmed by certifications or working experience.
• Ability to work in ATEX and winterized environment.
• Team management experience in a technical context.
• Technical English spoken and written mandatory.
• Demonstrate fluency in both spoken and written Russian (mandatory).
