Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

The Field Service Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning:

• Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labour performing tasks involved in the installation, completion and commissioning of turbomachinery.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sites
• Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation.
• Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within company safety standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/with at least 4 years of experience in a Field Services role)
• Previous experience with the installation, completion and commissioning of the previously named equipment.
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Positive attitude to safety.
